Anonymous said: hey, i cut and i uses plasters to cover the cuts so nobody stares/judges me and so my family/friends dont see, my friends ask why i wear plasters across my wrist and i say its cos my braceletes irritate my skin and they beleive it even my bestest friends who are like me family :/ but ive run out off plasters and im starting to react to my plasters too now im allways scratching my wrist making the plasters come off and its made my cuts burn :/ any advise on what i can hide them with?

First, I would like to say that you should never cut yourself. It can become very addicting and you’ll start to depend on that a lot. Try to stop cutting by doing something else that keeps your mind busy.

I honest;y don’t know what else you can use to hide your cuts, unless you wear long sleeves and sweaters. But since it’s getting really hot out, try wearing those thick bracelets, such as the i ,3 boobies ones. There are plenty more thick ones and they probably won’t irritate your skin.

One healthy thing that you should do is go to the doctors. Because cutting could lead to infections, and you really don’t want to get that.

MESSAGE HER SHE'S TAKING PILLS BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO END HER LIFE!

Anonymous said: i cut myself, i'm scared to tell anyone though. i don't know what to do, or even how to do it. i'm scared

You need to tell someone. Trust me, it will help you so much. I remember when i first cut myself I didn’t tell anyone. Things can get so much worse. It can become an addiction and it’s really hard to stop.

Trust me, I know telling someone about this is really scary, so try going to the doctors and ask for a request to see a therapist, or even talk to your school counselor. And if you really don’t want to do that then call this number here 1-800-DONT CUT (366-8288), they will help you in so many ways aswell and you can call at any time and they will always listen to what you have to say.

A way to try and not cut is to do the butter fly project. You take a permanent marker and draw a butterfly on your skin “the area you cut” and then give your betterfly a name, preferably the name of someone who cares about you and wnats to see you get better. If you make it without self-harming until your butterfly disappears naturally, your butterfly lives.

So please stay clean and tell someone about this, because you truly don’t want it to get worse. Goodluck hunn <3
